A Day in the Life

Well, I haven't written for a while. I guess life has been happening and I've failed to update. Gabriella is eating, growing, learning, and playing. She is in to everything! She, her dad, and I were out on our front porch swing yesterday and her dad put her down. She actually walked 6 steps! Everyone at work says anything over 3 and you can count it as her first steps. So, we're saying we got to see the 1st steps! She's been standing on her own and she's up on her feet more than she's sitting these days, but until yesterday, she would walk only about 2 steps and then fall into our laps. It's so funny how I can barely stand it until she starts walking, but everyone says I should be careful what I wish for. I think it will be nice, not to have to carry her absolutely everywhere. She's gettin' heavy!!! She loves to eat which we're glad for right now. She's not picky at all and will eat anything we put in front of her except, strangely enough, ground beef (unless it's spaghetti.)

Gabriella and I have joined a playgroup! We've actually attended several playgroups so far which have been fun. The most fun thing has been the mom's night outs for me! I've been to a few. They're usually held on Fridays and after working I am more than ready for a MNO! Dave a Gabriella have bonding time on Fridays when I'm gone.

I know the last time I wrote regarding working, I said I was going to keep my job. Well . . . . Now I have to tell that I have given my notice at work. That's right! You heard me! I'm going to work at home and be with Gabriella! I'm going to join the SAHM world. I'm nervous. Every other day I think I might keep my job, instead. I think I'm nervous to be a stay at home mom. Will I go crazy? I've always considered myself a "working woman". This decision has been the most difficult of my life and I'm not sure it's 100% made, yet. I'll keep you posted.
