HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SWEET BABY GIRL!

Today is my little girl's second birthday and I almost didn't get time to post this. I'm a little sad as I post because I just got finished looking at photos of Gabriella from only 6 months ago. She still seemd like such a 'baby' then. Now, she is more a girl. Wahahaa haa haa haa!!!! She's already growing up too quickly. How am I going to survive parenthood?

Here are some pictures from today. GG has a cold, so we didn't have a big party. It was just us. We called it, "The day of Gabriella". The first picture is when Dave and I went in her room this morning to wish her happy birthday and to sing. She was just a little surprised. I think she thought we were a little weird. The second picture is her "present tower". We spent the morning opening presents. One of her gifts from us was a fairy dress up kit complete with a crown, high heeled shoes, a wand, jewelry, and a skirt. The last pictures are modeling pictures!

Even though she was under the weather, she had a great attitude and we had a fun day today! We spent the day as a family. We ate her favorite foods, we went for a bike ride, and we played with all of her new toys! I'm guessing next year she'll want a huge bash!

Gabriella came home to us last year 10 days before her 1st birthday. This year has been full of excitement and challenges as we learned how to become a family and I learned how to be a mom. My heart swells with pride that this little girl is MY little girl. I can't believe I was blessed enough to receive such a gift. I hope you always know how much I love you Gabriella Grace.

And last year at this time. Boy how you've grown!
