What we've been up to.

It's been HOT here! Probably not as hot as it is some places in the U.S., but for around here, it's been HOT. We have no air conditioning, neither does anyone else in Germany. We live on the 6th floor (yes, we chose this) and heat rises. So, basically if we stay in our apartment we feel as though our skin is melting off. We have fans, but we need more. To fight the heat, here is what we have been doing:

We go to the Hannover Zoo:

The Hannover Zoo is wonderful! The variety of animals is extensive. And, the animals have great habitats to live in. I always feel a little sad when I see animals in captivity (okay, maybe a lot sad), but they seem to be pretty happy at this zoo. The Zoo workers really seem to care about the animals. We bought a season pass, so we can go to the Zoo anytime we like.
