On Friday we went to the market in Antigua with our guide/interpreter, Kenneth. I absolutely love the markets in Guatemala. I love to shop anyway, so this was big fun to me. The mayan crafts are amazing. It is expected that you barter with the shop owners, but I'm not that good at it, so Kenneth was a BIG help. Kenneth is a wonderful guy with whom Dave and I would like to keep in touch.
