Since the last time we talked . . . .

Sorry it's been so long since I posted. We've been busy livin' la vida loca! I am feeling much better since my last post. Things are falling into place here. We've gotten into a pretty good routine. Gabriella has probably tried more foods in the last month than some people my age have tried in their whole lives. She likes everything! I haven't had much spare time to update my blog lately because to be honest, at the end of the day after Gabriella goes to bed, I don't have much energy for anything but web-surfing, reading, watching TV or sleeping.

Gabriella started crawling about a week and a half after we got home from Guatemala. She was so frustrated at first. I think it was because she was used to being able to get around the house in a walker when she lived in Guatemala. for the first few days, she would attempt to crawl, quickly get her legs tangled and start to cry. It was hard, but I did not go to her and pick her up. Before we knew it, she was crawling all over the place! Now, she is on a mission to start walking soon. She's pulling up on everything. She loves to grab my fingers and walk across the room.She's timid about walking, but we see she's getting closer every day!

Since the last time I posted, we had picture day at Grammy's house, we've had "play dates", we've joined a play group and met some nice people at Barnes and Noble, we've gone to the Kentucky Horse Park, attended a wedding, met other Guatemala babies, went to the park and got on the swings, and hung out at the mall. Whew! I know there's something I'm missing, but you get the idea. Here are some pictures as a sort of synopsis.
