It's always nice to get to experience some "firsts" with your children. When you adopt, especially internationally, you don't always get a lot of "firsts". While we were visiting for the first time last week, we got to feed Gabriella her first 'people food'. She had a doctor's visit while we were there and when her foster mother brought her back, she said that the doctor said Gabriella could start eating fruits. So, we went to the hotel store and brought a small jar of peaches. At first, she made the worst faces, but then we couldn't get her to stop eating! She got upset when there was no more! Here's a picture. We should have all worn rain gear. We had food everywhere! We also taught Gabriella to wave 'hi' while we were there and she actually did it for the camera. She almost rolled over for us, but not quite. Rolling over should happen any day now. We took so many pictures, I think Gabriella now just instinctively knows to look at the camera and pose when she sees it
