I never thought I would get a chance to say that! I got the news at around 3 pm today. Our coordinator from our agency called me on my cell at work. I saw the number from our agency on my cell phone and all I could think was that they'd better not be calling me with some more bad news because I don't think I could take it. They are only supposed to be calling Dave right now, anyway, because I just can't take any more bad news about the adoption. All of a sudden she was telling me we are OUT OF PGN!!!!!!! I screamed and cried and almost hyperventilated. I excused myself and went into one of our patient consultation rooms and that's where the big crying fit began. I don't remember too much after that, but she did say that Gabriella could be home in 6 weeks!!!!!!! As I write this, I am so happy. I thought this day would never come. I am overwhelmed with emotion. At the same time, it feels as though a weight has been lifted, like I can finally exhale.
I'd like to say a BIG thank you to my coworkers/friends for being there to fan me and make sure I didn't pass out when I was receiving the news!!!
