Dog Love/Reunification and News

Well, the dogs are together again . . . GG and I met my dad and Susie (Abuelo and Abuelita) half way and had lunch and picked up Max. Now, I expected a dramatic reunification with music playing in the background, hearts in the sky, along with a lot of kissing and sniffing when Max and Bailey saw each other again. I got nothin'. When we put Bailey in the car with Max, they took one sniff at each other and Bailey went to the front seat and Max stayed in the back seat. Two days later, it's like they've never left each other. They're best buds again, laying next to each other, Bailey following Max around, etc . . .

Daddy has been working a lot this past week (that is why he came back to the U.S. after all). He's been driving around all over Kentucky seeing different plants. So, it's been just us girls a lot. GG's been feeling a little under the weather this week, so we've just been hanging around the house. It looks like we're not going to get to see all of the grandparents while we're home this time. Grandma and Grandpa have plans to go out on their new boat in Ohio, so they won't be able to make it down to see us. Maybe we'll be able to see them next trip home. As for the other grandparents, Grammy and Granddad are traveling through Italy and France and will be home this Sunday. Grammy is about to go crazy she wants to see GG so badly. Her email sounded like she just might jump out of the computer screen to hug her. We are also expecting a visit from GG's Abuelito and Abuelita early next week! I guess they didn't get enought at our hour long dog reunification visit!

In closing, two big things in the news to report:

1. I got accepted to Graduate School! The Masters of Science Family Nurse Practitioner Program to be exact. I am really proud of this.

2. I have officially run over 100 miles as of this past week! I've been running since February with the Nike plus shoes/Ipod combination. I started out doing the Couch Potatoe to 5K Program. When I first started, I had a difficult time even running 1 minute straight. I posted a link to the Nike web site (I think) at the upper left corner of the blog.
