5 weeks, 4 days in . . . . .

Well, that's how long we've been in PGN. We haven't gotten the dreaded 'kick out', yet, but who knows . . . . . It's all so nerve-wracking. I don't like thinking about this whole process. Every time I do, I get a sick feeling in my stomach. Will we get the call soon that we're out or will ours be one of the cases that just drags on and on? Will we have to plan another visit trip for April or May because we're still waiting? Blechhhhhh. I'm glad that most people I'm around on a daily basis just know to avoid the whole topic with me. They know that I'll tell everyone when she's out. However, there are still a curious few, that come up to me after every weekend and ask me if I've heard anything. AGGGHHHHH!!! "No, I haven't heard anything since the last time you asked me on Friday! The Guatemalan government doesn't work on weekends!" (all the while I'm smiling very pleasantly). If they only knew . . . . .

Hang in there! I can't imagine how you feel. I miss my boys when I am gone from them for just hours. So, keep your chin up!!! Love the pics. I sent you an email awhile back. Write when you can! Love, Julie.

I am right there with you!! Screaming with you!!! My favorite is when people say, "You don't have him YET??? Gosh, I am getting tired of waiting!" Someone ACTUALLY said that to me this week. Well-meaning people have no idea that they actually have the "power" to ruin your day! Hang in there, girl!! Joy comes in the morning. I hope it's soon for both of us!!!

Yes - those questions wear on ya after awhile!! Hang in there! They don't know what to say and they probably mean well!!! It's still hard to face it though!!! Almost six weeks - hoping that you only have days to go and you will get the news!!!!

Hi,
I'm new to your blog. I'm adopting a baby girl as well, I think they look similar. Especially the great hair! We've been in PGN for almost 4 weeks--so hard at times! I hope we all get out soon!
