Well, the protocol was read on Thursday in Guatemala. They had been threatening to read it for a while, so now it's finally read. No one really knows what to make of it, yet. The President of Guatemala has admitted they don't have the money to implement the protocol at this time, but knowing UNICEF and the evil that they are (they disapprove of international adoption), they will probably try to provide any funding needed. Anyway, at this time adoption cases seem to still be moving. Shout out to my blog-friend Michelle, who is out of family court and will be in PGN this coming week!!!!!

Dave and I have to continue being positive. I haven't really been obsessing or stressing out about this protocol reading these past couple of weeks. I don't know why. . . It's not denial. I just have a real peace about this situation right now. I just really believe in my heart that Gabriella will come home to us. I believe that God is behind this and that He has brought me a peace about the whole thing. I don't want to get too deep on ya, but that's what I think.

In the meantime, I'm keeping myself busy. I've been juicing up a storm this weekend. Today, I made mango/orange juice, papaya/orange juice, and cranberry/apple juice! It's so easy and fun and there's just something about pulverizing all those fruits into juice and pulp that's satisfying. I've also become addicted to looking around (and sometimes buying things) on Ebay. It wasn't a far stretch because I already love shopping!!!!! Don't worry Dave! Dave and I ran around town today. Tonight, I deep conditioned my hair and whitened my teeth! Whew!!!!!!
