Sorry I've been MIA for a while, but I've been studying. I now am a Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (or CCTC). I took the test yesterday along with 2 of my coworkers. We all passed!! It was the most difficult test I have ever taken. Even harder than the GRE or any computerized test I've taken. When I finished the exam, I felt physically and mentally drained and I felt like stumbling into the bar next door and ordering a 5th of Tequila. Since I don't drink, except for an occasional glass of wine with dinner, I thought it best to pass on the wine . . . . Oh, and the tequila. However, I didn't go to work the rest of the day. Passing this exam, not only means that I will have more respect in my field, but also means a raise and more letters behind my name (woo woo- to the last one). All I really cared about was the money (just kidding, kind of.)
I'm glad I've been so busy lately. It's truly a blessing. Anything to not think about our adoption. I just continue to hope and pray that everything is going well. I am getting the pictures my mom took on our last visit trip, so I'll have something to post soon.
