Nothing new to post today. I'm just wondering what to do to pass the time until I get an update about my baby or my baby comes home. I have work. While I'm at work, I don't have time to think about adoption, I am so busy. That's a good thing. I can't take a trip with my husband because any money we would have spent on a trip is dedicated to adoption. I've already taken up knitting. I've taught myself to crochet, a little. I like to be crafty and I've probably tried most of them. If anyone from the adoption world, any of my friends, acquaintances, or total strangers have any ideas, please let me know. Please keep all ideas 'G'-rated.
Also, congratulations to Lori, my new blog world friend, on getting 'pink'!!!!!!!! She's going to pick up her little one in a few days!!!!! Exciting!

Thanks Lori for the shout out!!! I think your little sweet pea is just devine!! I enjoy scrapbooking! If you haven't started, start small. I currently am making a little memory book for Sonja's Foster Mom! Watch movies that you know you won't be able to when Gabriella is home or read a book! Those are two things that don't seem to happen much when baby arrives! And be sure to enjoy your favorite restaurant, because that is history as well!!
The only suggestion I have is children. I know that sounds silly because why would you want to surround yourself with children when all you want is yours home. Wouldn't it be depressing? On the contrary...I started working in our church nursery for all the ministries on weekends and after work....first the whole time I was there I was none stop so I didn't think about the big A and then I was so beat from chasing a room full of toddlers around I slept super. I only wish I had started earlier in the process.
That's all I got for ya.
