Well, it's snowing here. It's probably snowing more this year than any other time since we've lived here. The news stations have been announcing a winter storm warning all day. Almost all of the schools have let out early here, and in the surrounding counties, in anticipation of the storm. So far, the snow hasn't amounted to much. At least that's the report from outside my window as I sit here and type. Our little dog, Bailey, will barely go outside long enough to do his business, it's so cold! I think it was a high of 19 F today. That's a heat wave because it was 3 F yeaturday! I think we have spoiled both of the dogs. They have a really cushy life. I tell them that all the time, but they just look up at me with those big brown eyes with a look that says, "can I have a treat, now?" Dave and I have been pretty good doggie parents. Our boys are pretty well-behaved. They mind well and only mildly go crazy when a visitor comes to our door. They don't use the bathroom in the house . . . . Do you think being good doggie parents translates into maybe being good real parents???? I think that's a funny question to ponder.
Well, back to my knitting. I've been knitting a shaw to keep myself busy in the after work hours. I was spending too much time surfing the web and pining away for Gabriella, so I thought I would start knitting again. It is very meditative and fun. I like all those "old lady hobbies." I'll post pictures tomorrow at work.
